workshops and Mother's Day poems

wordybirdies are thrilled to be starting work on the poem for our GLOW Mother's Day competition winner...she was so excited at winning so we hope she and her Mum will be thrilled with the finished poem on Sunday!

wordybirdies also hard at work preparing for wordybirdies LIVE! our two-woman show which we're taking round the area from April - tonight we are workshopping some of our material, a particulary funny and fab poem about...well, you'll have to wait and see, or maybe book us for your event and find out that way!

Yes, we are waiting to find out which customer of GLOW beauty salon in Mold has won a specially-composed poem for her mother on that special day this Sunday. Should know very soon as the draw was made last night.

March 1st 2010 - Saint David's Day - wordybirdies say wear your daffodil with pride!

Yes, today is Dydd Gwyl Dewi Sant, the day of our patron saint, David, here in Wales, so it's out with the daffodils, the odd leek, the Welsh rugby jerseys, the stuffed dragons and all the rest of it...fantastic way to start the week!
